Norvil Disc Conversion
We try to keep all information current, but regret that prices
and availability are subject to change. Special Order Items (SO) are priced as of the last time we sold one.
Last updated 02/12/21.
Please Note: the "14-" preceding all order numbers is an Old Britts grouping code. The second portion of the order number is normally the factory part number (e.g., 14-060627 is the Norton part 06-0627). When ordering, you can use our order number or the factory part number.

The above parts are what is required to convert a stock Commando front disc system into a single Norvil Disc system.
You only need one rotor (disc): 14-000002 or 14-000002/D
Depending on the side you choose to mount your disc and if you choose to use the Norvil slider, you will choose the left slider (13-200001) or the right slider (13-200002). For a single system you only need one of these sliders and do not need the Adapter Plate (14-200010). If you elect to use your stock slider, you will need the Adapter Plate (14-200010) and do not need any of the Norvil sliders.
The caliper does not come with brake pads, so you will need to chose one set of pads: either the EBC pads (14-000005) or the AP pads (14-200006).
The brake line tee (15-066088) should be mounted under the triple clamps, above the fender with the brake switch (14-061934) screwed into one of the tees and the brake lines into the other two tees.
The rest of the parts are used in making up the braided line. We will
provide more detailed information on making up this line in the future.
Until then, give us a call and we will provide you with the required
information.
You will need 2 of the 13-067522
You will need 2 of the 54-800301
You will need 2 of the 54-800114
You will need the 45 fitting (54-800102) or the 90 fitting (54-800103)
to screw into the master cylinder (14-200001) depending on how sharp you
want the line to angle down toward the wheel.
You will have to measure the length of the brake line needed. Read the
article on making up brake lines for information on making brake lines.
The assembling information for the Norvil disc can be found at the end of the Norton Torque Specifications article.
