This rectifier can be used to replace both the single phase pre-MK3 rectifier
(49072) and the MK3 rectifier (49181 or 06-5916).
This rectifier will not work with three phase systems.
It should be mounted on a flat metal surface to act as a heat sink.
Connect the positive terminal to earth ground.
Connect the negative terminal to the negative terminal on the battery.
The other two terminals can be connected to alternator and can go on either position.
