The TT pipes come with a black H.P.C. coating (part number 16-100015) or chromed
(part number 16-199915/C).
This set of pictures shows the black H.P.C. coated TT pipes mounted on a 750 Commando production racer.
The pipes are 1 5/8" in diameter and in these pictures are fitted with Supertrap black steel
silencer. The pipes do not come with the silencers (see below for pricing).
The exhaust pipes are bolted directly to the engine mounting brackets and do not need any
isolastic mountings. For this application about five inches had to be trimmed from the end of
the pipes to fit into the silencers and then bolted to the center stand mounting holes on the
engine brackets. The stock length allows for the pipes to be bolted directly to the engine
brackets or used with a varity of silencers.
The Supertrap black steel silencer bodies (70-720003,
$72.36
each) are fitted with the Supertrapp 4-Stroke Core Kit (70-720004,
$66.73
each). In this picture the mounting flange was manufactured and welded to the siliencer body.
You could manufacture a hanger that would fit over the silencer body instead of welding one to
the body.
This last picture shows he small frontal area of the TT pipes and how well they tuck up
allowing maximum lean angle.
