This valve is a top quality product based on the well-tried Velocette type. The body is made from bronze, thereby ensuring a top quality, long-lasting seating.

To fit:

Drain the oil tank. Remove the existing oil tank filter and replace with the new valve.

It is VERY IMPORTANT to prime the valve, the pipe to the engine and the connection to the oil tank with engine oil when assembling and before starting the engine if the bike has been sitting for an extended period of time. Failure to do this important operation could cause SERIOUS DAMAGE to the motor.

Check that the oil is returning to the oil tank for five to ten minutes. Whilst the oil tank is drained, it may be beneficial to fit our replacement cartridge-type oil filter kit (06-4283).
